Dear valued customers from United States!
Thailand post announced that they resume delivery to USA using ePacket (PLUS) service.
You are welcome to place orders again!
You are welcome to place orders again!
However as a result of President Donald Trump’s executive order banning the De Minimis tax exemption for all countries, please consider following facts and restrictions:
- Since US government requires the sender to pay duty (Customs fee and tax), this shipment will be DDP (“delivery duty paid” as defined in Incoterms). And everything is already included into delivery cost, you don’t need to make any additional payments upon receive parcel. And good news: delivery cost was not increased, it is the same as before shutdown.
- Total value of goods in one parcel should not exceed 60 USD. When you add products to cart, the system automatically calculates total value in USD. And it warns you if the total value exceeded 60 USD. It counts only goods value, does not include delivery cost. Therefore “order total” could be more than 60 USD, restricted only the value of goods.
- Maximum total weight of order is increased from 2 kg to 5 kg.
- There are separate tariffs for US mainland and remote areas. Tariffs are little bit more expensive for the following places: American Samoa, Federated State of Micronesia, Guam, Guantanamo Bay, Hawaii, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands.
- New delivery procedure involves a “delivery unit”, a 3rd party company, which is actually delivers parcels to USA. And it does not update information to Universal Postal Union. Therefore, receiving post (USPS) shows last tracking event “arrived to SUVARNABHUMI” (Bangkok’s international airport). While Thailand post shows real location of package (with some delays).
